If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

ReceiptLabs is an AI-powered receipt management platform that provides:

• • Google Sheets Integration: Automatic organization of receipt data into spreadsheets
• • Google Drive Integration: Import receipts from designated folders
• • Gmail Processing: Automated receipt detection and processing (Business Plan)
• • Analytics: Spending insights and categorization (Professional and Business Plans)
• • Receipt Generator: Free tool for creating professional receipts

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• • You must create an account using Google OAuth to access most features
• • You must provide accurate and complete information
• • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• • You are responsible for all activities under your account
• • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• • You may not share your account credentials with others
• • You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent service limitations

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plan Types

• • Free Plan: 10 receipts per month, 30-day data retention
• • Professional Plan: KES 4,999/month, 500 receipts, 6-month retention, analytics
• • Business Plan: KES 6,999/month, unlimited receipts, 12-month retention, Gmail processing

4.2 Billing Terms

• • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• • Payments are processed through Paystack
• • All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

4.3 Cancellation

• • You may cancel your subscription at any time
• • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• • Your data will be retained according to your plan's retention policy
• • We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

• • Process legitimate business and personal receipts
• • Use extracted data for accounting and expense tracking
• • Generate professional receipts using our receipt maker tool
• • Access and export your own data

5.2 Prohibited Uses

• • Upload fraudulent, fake, or altered receipts
• • Process receipts containing illegal content
• • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
• • Use the service for money laundering or tax evasion
• • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• • Spam or abuse our support systems
• • Share or resell access to your account

5.3 Content Standards

• • All uploaded receipts must be legitimate business documents
• • You must have the right to upload and process all content
• • Content must not violate any third-party rights
• • We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content

6. Google Services Integration

6.1 Required Permissions

To provide our services, we require specific Google API permissions:

• • Google Sheets: Create and modify spreadsheets with your receipt data
• • Google Drive: Read receipts from folders you designate
• • Gmail (Business Plan): Read emails to detect and process receipt attachments

6.2 Data Handling

• • We only access data necessary for service functionality
• • Gmail content is not stored; only receipt attachments are processed
• • You can revoke permissions at any time through Google settings
• • We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy

6.3 Service Dependencies

Our service depends on Google APIs. Service interruptions or changes to Google's policies may affect functionality. We are not responsible for Google service outages or policy changes.

7. Data Processing and AI

7.1 AI Processing

• • We use OpenAI's services to extract data from receipts
• • AI processing may not be 100% accurate; you should verify extracted data
• • We continuously improve our AI models for better accuracy
• • Your data is not used to train third-party AI models

7.2 Data Accuracy

• • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data
• • We provide confidence scores to help you assess data quality
• • You can manually correct any extraction errors
• • We are not liable for decisions based on extracted data

7.3 Data Retention

• • Data retention periods vary by subscription plan
• • We automatically delete data after retention periods expire
• • You can delete your data at any time
• • Deleted data cannot be recovered

8. Intellectual Property

9. Service Availability and Support
